Jubilee Mass at 3 PM and Dinner at 5 PM | Sunday, October 15, 2017
The Great Hall, Perrysville
Bishop David Zubik will celebrate a 3 PM Mass at St. Teresa of Avila Church, followed by dinner and
festivities at The Great Hall on Perry Highway from 5-9 PM, on Sunday, October 15th. The Great Hall was the
site of the second St. Teresa of Avila Church until 1983. The hall retains much of the stunning architecture
and will serve as a beautiful backdrop for our observance.
Tickets to the reception are $50 a person and include a fully catered dinner, wine, beer, and entertainment.
They are available for purchase in the rectory starting September 9. Tickets will be mailed to your home. Note that seating is limited, and will be filled in the order that ticket requests are received.
Reserving a Table
No individual seating is reserved; however, you may reserve a table for 8 to 10 people for an additional fee
of $20 per table. Please submit a check that equals the total cost per ticket plus $20 for the table. The table
will be reserved under your name.
The deadline to purchase tickets is October 1.
Even if you are unable to join us for the anniversary dinner, we hope that everyone will attend the 3 PM
Mass on October 15th as one parish family. This Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation. Our goal is to
completely fill the church for Bishop Zubik’s visit so that he can witness for himself the wonderful vibrancy
and vitality of our faith community. May God continue to bless you and yours throughout our Jubilee year!

Jubilee Heritage Week | April 22-29, 2017
Jubilee Heritage Week was a huge success as we celebrated the rich heritage of St. Teresa of Avila Parish looking back on 150 years of faith! Many parish artifacts and archives were on display throughout Schoppol Hall all week. Guests had the chance to see rarely seen photographs, religious items, and sacred objects from our church (past and present), school, and convent buildings, including the contents from inside the old church cornerstone, personal items from former pastors, and much more!
St. Teresa Parish Family Picnic | June 11, 2017
More than 350 parishioners came together to enjoy great food, drinks, music, and games at the annual Parish Picnic! The picnic was held at the Mayernik Center and Pavilion in Avonworth park immediately following the noon Mass, celebrated by Bishop Tobin, a proud son of St. Teresa. A wonderful time was had by all!
